Chateau la Conseillante, 2016, Pomerol, France –

Recommended by María Laura Ortiz

80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
2016 is a highlighted vintage, the best since 2010 and also the second great vintage in charge of Marielle. The wine is powerful and focused, deep purple-red colour, fruity aromas with touches of sweet spices, red and blackberries, raspberries and strawberries candy aromas.
It’s a stunning, chiselled and complex Pomerol blend with great ageing potencial: 2028 – 2050.

Price: USD 185
